Here’s just a little taste of the anti-police brutality today in Portland. I couldn’t stay long because I had grumpy hungry kids and a splitting headache, but I am very glad that we got to participate. It was great to see such a diverse crowd; men, women, young, old, Black, white and everything in between. Portland is always down for a good protests. We have megaphones, kazoos, and car horns to accompany chants of “Hands up, don’t shoot” and “No justice, no peace, no racist police.” I hear the marching began after I left, I just wanted to share what I caught while we were there.
